Well. I'm back from New York! Anyway, I was lucky enough to see what is probably the best comic book adaptation I have ever seen, V for Vendetta. I read the comics about six months ago, and I never thought the movie would be as good, and even sometimes, better than the comic (please don't kill me!) Anyway, the character of V was just perfectly played by Hugo Weaving (agnet smith in matrix and Elrond in LOTR), and the chemistry between Evey (Nathalie Portman) and V was just perfect!

V is certainly the most interesting comic book character I have ever seen! My top favourites being Magneto, Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Doc Oc, and Hartigan!

Here is my tribute to both characters, V and Evey. I did it while in my room in New York, watching desperate housewives in the bed and eating beef jerky.

Made with Watercolor, and modified with Photoshop CS. I hope you'll enjoy!

haha she looks good even with the head shaven! I think she is a great actress, especially after her performance in that movie.

WAAAh, t'es de retour !!! ^_^ Je ne pensais pas te voir rentrer aussi tôt. en tout cas, je ne savais même pas que V for Vendetta était l'adaptation d'une Bd ... faudrait que je me renseigne un peu, ça à l'air sympa. J'aime beaucoup les mains de Evey sur ce dessin, par contre la coloration des cheveux de V est moins réussie ... enfin, je me demande toujours comment je peux me permettre de critiquer ce que tu fais quand je ne suis même pas capable d'en faire le tiers XD

C'est vraiement cool, je pensais aller voir le film bientôt parce que l'affiche ciné m'intriguait...je ne savais même pas que c'étais un comic book à la base et je n'ai vu aucun teaser ou preview! ^^ Je veux aller le voir avec l'esprit blanc comme neige pour potentiellement avoir une belle surprise! Les films de ces temps ci sont pas très bon...tout dans le visuel et rien dans le contenu...u_u

Mais ton dessin est pas mal cool! :)
J'espère que tu as fait un bon voyage et que tu t'es bien amusée! Moi j'ai tellement honte, j'habite Montréal, à 5 heures maximum de new york et je n'y ai jamais mit les pieds de ma vie...u_u
