Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Ok, here we go:


1) I am a complete dumbass when it comes to maths, physics and science in general, though I love chemistry and biology. I think I would have studied zoology if I had had good grades in sciences!

2) I have a huge fascination for foxes and birds. I would love to work in a wild animal care center one day. I would love to have a pet fox, and I envy all those people who have tame foxes living in their gardens.

3) I have the bad habit of biting my lips. I just can't help it.

4)I love to read in the bath, it's my favourite place for that activity. I do it systematically.

5)I love to sing, I do it everyday when I'm working on my comic book. But I am so ashamed that people could hear me, that I bury my head in the closet and sing in the clothes that are hanging, so that no one hears me. Ridiculous, isn't it?

6) I could not live without milk. And tea. Those are my two ultimate favourite drinks. I sometimes even order them in the restaurant or bars, and I usually get a nice "wtf" look. And I always say that the day I'll order wine at a restaurant will be the day I have really become an adult. And that will never happen.

7) I'm 24, but I really don't want kids, at least for the moment. I don't know how to act when I'm with babies or really young kids, and they usually don't like me. oh, and the idea of changing diapers just kills me. And tons of other reasons that I won't rant about now!

8)I love reading books in a special context: like for LOTR, I went in the mountains, took a reading pipe (I don't smoke, it's just for decoration), made a nice hobbit-like picnic, and read in the grass. My next goal is to read the "Master and Commander" books on a three masted ship.

hihi moi j'ai fini la saison 3 depuis juillet ^_^ j'en peux plus depuis d'attendre la saison 4 *_*
Et oui le bisou Cam/house est magnifique. J'avais sauté partout après l'avoir vu. J'étais tellement dégoutée depuis qu'il lui avait dit non vers la fin de la saison 1. Ce qu'il peut être crétin ce House parfois... :lol: (d'autant que j'aime pas trop l'idée du couple House/Cuddy et j'aimais pas non plus quand il était revenu avec sa femme ^^")

ah mais pareil! Je préfère l'idée de House/cam, et je déteste Stacy. Cuddy House c'est surtout marrant pour les vannes! Mais je ne les vois pas ensemble... Et House/Cam, le problème c'st que c'est voué à l'échec, même si la dynamique est plus intéressante! Ca me rappelle mes propres persos des fois...

Moi aussi ça me rapelle mes persos ... C'est voué à l'échec mais on peut pas s'empécher de trouver ça plus intéressant justement pour cette raison!
Et oui House Cuddy c'est marrant pour les vannes, justement... J'adore quand il lui fait des remarques sur ses fesses. Ou encore le "You can't stop our love!" qui est vraiment hilarant. Je sais pas si tu l'as vu encore ce passage là... :p

En fait au final je me dis que pour House ça ne fonctionnerait avec personne. Ca reste quand même assez triste. Il va finir avec Wilson si ça continue :XD:

haha entièrement d'accord, House est un éternel célibataire! Et je me souviens du mythique "you can't stop our love" sauf que je les regarde en francais, et je suis étonnée par la qualité du doublage! :D

Ouais, moi je les regarde soit en français soit en anglais, et je trouve le doublage vraiment nickel.
House et Cuddy, c'est vraiment fun. Et c'est vrai qu'à part Wilson, personne ne le supporte...
J'ai un perso qui ressemble un peu à House, mais en moins marrant (je ne suis pas assez cynique pour ça). Il a un pote qui me rappelle vachement Wilson (et il s'appelle William, en plus...). C'est aussi le seul qui le supporte. C'est drôle, quand même ! Surtout que quand j'ai créé ces deux persos, la série Dr House n'existait même pas !

C'est vrai que les doublages français sont rarement aussi bons que dans House! J'aime bien regarder en VO quand-même parce que la prestation de Hugh Laurie est vraiment géniale. C'est incroyable cet accent américain, quand on pense qu'il est anglais...
Par contre Prison Break je suis totalement incapable de regarder en français. Vraiment, pour le coup je bloque. Déja le générique est horrible mais en plus, T-Bag perd beaucoup de son charisme sans l'accent d'Alabam et la voix de Robert Knepper. :(
