You're right though about rabies. I was a little worried yesterday, but I don't think there really is a risk, as it didn't hurt me or my cat, and it's one of those tiny bats that, even if they bite you, don't hurt you at all (it was barely bigger than a quarter!)

I live in an apartment too, and we have lots of bats, they fly so close to our open window on summer nights, that mum is always afraid they will once fly into our flat, but it has not happened before, they have some good aim, so your cat must be a clever one, to be able to catch one!!
