finally...

Mon Feb 13, 2006, 5:20 PM
I finally found a decent title for my comic book project: it shall be called "Clues". I'm really happy with it... Took me more than a year to find a decent title... phew!

And I'm opening commissions officially on the first of march, if, I receive the credit card I asked for today! yay! hey, does anyone know how a paypal account works? I have no clue...

And I might travel to New York in one month! for a week or so. I hope there will still be some snow! ^___^

its some sort of detective story (a bit lije sherlock holmes), with a bit of a weird romance between the detective and his personal crime scene photographer...

Glad you found a title! And as a lot of peeps already wrote good introductions to Paypal I'll hold my comments. All I can say, it's a useful tool, and givel yourself a little advance time to set it up, as they will verify your account by a 10 cent transaction. If you do it right when you need to pay someone or someone is supposed to pay you, that's a bit tedious. After that it works very well and is very easy.

Good warning about the phishers, too. I've certainly got fake emails, and I always forward them to Paypal. They'll get back with you almost immediately telling you they are fake.

thank you for your helping advice! do you know if you absolutely need a credit card to just receive money?

I don't think you do. I believe a bank account is all that's required. Mind you, I'm writing from the US. I'd recommend a quick scan of the Questions and Answers on your European site.

Pay Pal is really simple, just a lot of steps. If you follow the prompts you should be fine. You set up an account with a username (I think an email address) and a password. Then enter personal information, and wait to get a confirmation email.
