Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

I finally found a decent title for my comic book project: it shall be called "Clues". I'm really happy with it... Took me more than a year to find a decent title... phew!

And I'm opening commissions officially on the first of march, if, I receive the credit card I asked for today! yay! hey, does anyone know how a paypal account works? I have no clue...

And I might travel to New York in one month! for a week or so. I hope there will still be some snow! ^___^

Scam emails are basically like this:

"Dear PayPal user: It is time of the year for your PayPal account confirmation. Please click on the link below to sign in and confir,"

So what ppl do is sign in, and voila, they gave their account info away to someone. The emails look very proffessional, almost an exact replica of a PayPal email. So how do you tell the difference?

If you get an email from PayPal, they will say "Dear [insert real name here]". They will never say "Dear User", they will use your name. So if you remember that, you're golden.

And as for how much you have earned, you just log into your account (at paypal.com) and you get a complete balance and history of all incoming and outgoing payments. A pretty good system; I have used it monthly, if not daily, for the last 5 years without incident.

and if I understood well, to request money, I have to send an email with the amount that I'm asking for via paypal, and then the person confirms that email, therefore sending me the money in, is that it?

yea, it mostly works through email. Don't worry, when you first set it up, they do a $.10 withdrawel to get you used to the system. As long as you can part with 10 cents lol.

Or do they give you 10 cents... I forget.

Not necessarily, you just need a credit card for back-up payment. (Let's say you pay for something and there isn't enough money in your account, it moves to the CC.) In short: A CC is needed for validation and as a back up source, but as long as you remain conscious of your funds, you won't have any problems.

please also remember that in scam emails they ask you to use a link in the e-mail to log in, never click on this link. Real Paypal emails never contain links and ask you to sign on in their main page [link].

Paypal itself has its own way of requesting money from your paypal account itself, you can then withdraw that to your chosen bank accout.. the links are titled accordingly (request funds, withdraw etc)....
